The Baarmutha Belter Ride Package (LARGE BIKE)

AUD $95.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Beechworth, Victoria
  • Product code: RR-PKG-BBL

The Baarmutha Belter ride package is for you if you're curious to find out what the Indigo Epic fuss is all about. It's the perfect entry into riding machine-cut flow trail and singletrack for beginner riders with some experience, but be warned, you'll be hooked on that downhill flow feeling!

The trail from Wallaby Mine back to Beechworth is rated Easy with Intermediate sections (check what this means for you). You'll be on one of our LARGE E-MTBs to help you up the steeper bits ... but you'll still need some basic MTB skills on the trail. Please use the Ride Republic website to check whether this trail rating suits your fitness and ability before you book.

The initial climb doesn't last long, and soon the smooth, machine-built Indigo Epic trail begins undulating through the native forest to the highest point on the whole trail at 747m elevation, before flowing down an endless series of berms and crests on Baarmutha Belter through Beechworth Historic Park.

You'll quickly pick up momentum on the descent, so stay close to your brakes and watch the trail ahead as you feel your speed build.

By the time you hit the flat Pipeline return track near the caravan parks you'll be (a) in a hurry to get back to the Gaol for a second run, and (b) thinking about which of your possessions you can sell in order to buy an e-mountain bike...
